So at this time I am completely back to previous activites, (trail riding, the gym, etc). It feels really good!! I have found that I have much better balance than before and I am sure Storm is appreciating that. Now I also can catch up on all of the chores that I have been remiss in taking care of. The arena and tack room are first. We had a major water leak from the roof on the tack room side, which was fixed recently so I feel comfortable fixing the insulation that has come loose. The arena is going to get turned up and moved about , I have been doing so much riding outside that it has really taken a back seat. |

I was lucky enough today to see some of the level 3 clinic with Jesse Peters( 3 star Parelli instructor). It always amazes me how our body language determines how our horses react. Some times just a subtle movement can mean different things that get different reactions. I was a little sad that I wasn't riding, but in retrospect it was probably a good thing. I got to see some solid level 3 at liberty, on line and free style and came home with some great ideas. As usual Jesse was very inspiring and honest. |

It has been awhile since I have posted anything. This is due to the fact that I wasn't able to be the partner my horse needed me to be. I was in much pain from a degenerative hip problem and could hardly walk. I had my hip replaced on May 9th and feel wonderful. Hopefully there will be many interesting things for me to chat about now. Storm and I are basically starting over, he lost all confidence in me as a leader as I wasn't there for him. My RBE needs consistancy and I need to approach him like I am on valium (very hard to do when I too am a RBE). |
